   Chemical property
White crystalline or crystalline powder, odorless, sweet taste. Relative density 1.752(anhydrous matter), 1.524(dihydrate), melting point 225~227ºC(anhydrous matter), 218ºC(dihydrate matter), boiling point 319ºC. Soluble in water (25ºC, 14g/100mL; 60ºC, 28g/100mL), slightly soluble in ethanol, glacial acetic acid, ethylene glycol and glycerol, insoluble in ether, acetone and chloroform. Stable in air, stable to heat, strong acids and bases, but easy to absorb moisture.
    Product use
Inositol is an essential vitamin for lipid metabolism in the body. It can promote the absorption of vitamins and lipid-lowering drugs, promote fat metabolism and cell growth in liver and other tissues, and is used for the adjuvant treatment of fatty liver and hyperlipidemia. Widely used in food and feed additives. Often added to fish, shrimp and livestock feed. Dosage 350-500mg/kg.
