CAS 9003-11-6 Poloxamer is a synthetic block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It is available in several types, conforming to the following requirements.
This kind of surfactant were firstly developed by America. They have almost no toxicity, little irritation on the skin and the mucosa. They are widely used as emulsifier, solubilizing agent, hydrophilic substrate of ointments and suppositories,artificial blood, artificial tear and artifical skin etc.
Application
CAS 9003-11-6 Polyether polyols' major use is in polyurethane foams. Flexible foams are primarily used in cushioning applications such as furniture, bedding and car seats, and in carpet underlay. Rigid foam's largest consumer is the construction industry where it is mostly used for insulation. Rigid foam is also used in commercial refrigeration and packaging. Smaller uses for polyether polyols include elastomers, adhesives and sealants, surface coatings and polyurethane fibres.
