Ascorbate 2-glucoside (AA2G) is a natural form of vitamin C that contains glucose-stabilized components. The vitamin C component can be easily and effectively manufactured for the skin containing AA2G cosmetics, creams and lotions, through the action of enzymes and alpha-glucosidase, the AA2G containing vitamin C can be slowly extracted.
AA2G is used to lighten color and reduce pigmentation in age spots and freckles.
