Rosin glycerol ester, as a basic agent for gum sugar, endows gum sugar with foaming, plasticizing, and chewable properties. It is used in bubble gum, chewing gum, and sugar free chewing gum, with good taste and antioxidant properties, while maintaining softness. It can also be used for hair removal in chickens, ducks, and animals, and as an emulsion stabilizer in beverages. Rosin glycerol ester can be used for re evaluation of wood rosin as a food additive.
