     Fumaric acid is used in the production of unsaturated polyester resins, which are characterized by good chemical corrosion resistance and heat resistance. The copolymer of fumaric acid and vinyl acetate is a good adhesive, and the copolymer of styrene is the raw material for the manufacture of glass steel. The plasticizer made of fumaric acid is non-toxic and can be used for vinyl acetate latex in contact with food. This product is an intermediate of fine chemicals such as pharmaceutical and optical bleach, used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of antidotes dimertosuccinic acid, fumaric acid is neutralized with sodium carbonate, that is, sodium fumaric acid ([17013-01-3]) is obtained, and then ferrous sulfate is substituted to obtain iron fumaric acid. It's a drug used to treat small red blood cell anemia. 
       Food sourness agent, it plays an important role in bacteriostasis and preservative; Acidity regulator, acidifier, anti-thermal oxidation agent, salting promoter, spice.
