Product Usage
Colorless liquid. The boiling point is 96ºC (1.33kPa), 57ºC (66.7Pa), the relative density is 1.066 (25/16ºC), the refractive index is 1.4470, and the flash point is 96ºC. Soluble in general organic solvents, still soluble in water.
Hydroxypropyl methacrylate can be used as active diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing system, and also as resin crosslinking agent, plastic and rubber modifier. It can be used in the production of Chemicalbook thermosetting coatings, adhesives, fiber treatment agents and modifiers of synthetic resin copolymers. It can also be used as one of the main cross-linked functional monomers used in acrylic resins.
