CAS 50-70-4 Sorbitol is divided into liquid sorbitol and crystalline sorbitol. Liquid sorbitol is a colorless transparent viscous liquid with a sweet taste; Crystalline sorbitol is a white moisture absorbent crystalline powder or particle with a relative density of about 1.49. It is easily soluble in water (1g soluble in about 0.45mL of water) and slightly soluble in ethanol. Sorbitol has a pleasantly cool sweet taste and is about 0.6 times sweeter than sucrose.
