Panax notoginseng extract is an extract of Panax notoginseng root of Acanthaceae. It mainly contains saponin components. It has the effect of dispersing stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is used for hemoptysis, hematemesis, epistaxis, hematochezia, dissolving leakage, traumatic hemorrhage, thorax and abdominal tingling and collapse injury.
Panax notoginseng total saponins can promote growth, increase the weight of mice significantly, have androgen-like effects, can significantly increase the weight of seminal vesicles in rats, total panax notoginseng total saponins also have anti-ulcer effect, canine intravenous injection can significantly inhibit the ulcer caused by pyloric ligation in rats. Water extract and total saponins of Panax Notoginseng can inhibit many kinds of bacteria and fungi.
