    CAS 1948-33-0 Tert-butylhydroquinone is suitable for crude oils and highly unsaturated oils, such as sunflower oil. For cooking oil and baking products, it should be used in combination with BHA, but it is suitable for cooking products. General dosage 100 ~ 200mg/kg. Used as PVC anti-fisheye agent and food additive, as an antioxidant, can be used for edible oil, fried food, biscuits, instant noodles, instant cooking rice, canned dried fruit, dried fish products and cured meat products, the maximum usage is 0.2g/kg.
    It can prevent oxidation of most oils, plastics and rubber. Iron, copper does not change color, but can turn pink if there is alkali. Excellent antioxidant properties.

Application

Used as antioxidant to preserve various oils, fats and food items by retarding their oxidative deteriation. It is used in formulating vanish, lacquar, resin and oil field additives. It is used as a fixative in perfumary to reduce the vaporation rate and improve stability. It is also used as a stabilizer to inhibit the auto-polymerization of organic peroxides.
